Less common but more serious side effects of GLP-1 agonists include: pancreatitis, an inflammation of the pancreas that causes abdominal pain, gastroparesis, in which movement of food out of the stomach is slowed or stopped, bowel obstruction, a blockage that keeps food from passing through the intestines or gallstone attacks and bile duct blockage.

All claims and reported benefits referenced in relation to semaglutide and tirzepatide are based on studies involving FDA-approved, non-compounded forms of these medications.     You will also be connected with Full Plate Living for a complete nutrition program.

  • At MindWell, our comprehensive weight loss program, including your online appointment and medication, is only $295 per month (billed in 90-day increments). This includes everything you need to achieve your weight loss goals with no hidden fees or long-term contracts.

    If you choose to have your prescription filled at a local pharmacy instead of using our platform, please note that the pharmacy may charge you an additional fee. However, most of our clients save over $1,000 per month by using our platform for prescription fulfillment.

  • The dosing schedule for semaglutide at MindWell typically involves starting at 0.25 mg once weekly and gradually increasing to 1 mg once weekly for most patients. However, for those who require higher doses, we offer up to 2 mg once weekly as medically appropriate for an additional $100 per month.

    In this case, you will receive your order every 90 days as usual, but with an additional vial of medication included in your scheduled delivery. This option may be discussed during your telemed visit.

  • Your prescription will be sent right away and your medicine will usually be shipped within 1-3 weeks depending on demand at the pharmacy.

  • Like any medication, semaglutide can cause side effects. Some of the most common side effects reported by people using semaglutide include nausea and stomach pain. These side effects are usually mild and go away on their own within a few days or weeks of starting the medication.

    However, there are also more serious side effects that may occur, although they are rare. These include inflammation of the pancreas, kidney problems, intestinal blockage, gastroparesis and allergic reactions. If you experience any symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, persistent nausea or vomiting, or signs of an allergic reaction (such as rash, itching, or difficulty breathing), contact your healthcare provider immediately.

    Semaglutide is contraindicated in patients with a personal or family history of Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC) or in patients with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). Please let your provider know if this is the case and they can discuss your options.

    It's important to discuss any potential side effects with your healthcare provider before starting semaglutide, and to report any new or unusual symptoms that develop while taking the medication.
